Romanza all' Ungarese

Virtuosity and originality meet in "Romanza all Ungarese", which was originally a tribute to the ingenious musicality of the Hungarian Roma. The ensemble "SoLiszti" was founded for the Franz Liszt Year 2011 and consists exclusively of Jozsef Lendvay's musical companions with a classical and folkloristic background.

A temporary project became a permanent salon orchestra: Due to the great success and the overwhelming response from the audience, the "SoLiszti" continue to come together in their original line-up even after the Franz Liszt Year. With their fiery mixture of virtuoso classical music and vital folklore, they inspire music lovers all over the world.
