bring the programme – Wild EAST – Gypsy meets Classic – Eastern European folklore on the stages of the world and performs with his Hungarian ensemble Gypsy at its best. Hardly anyone else knows how to introduce an audience to Eastern European folk music with passion and ease, as it was also played by Roma and has been known as “gypsy music“ since the 18th century. His interpretations of the songs of ingenious Roma folklore that have been handed down from generation to generation evoke the spirits of times long past. Experience the virtuosity, originality and the charm of gypsy music and Lendvays violin. József Lendvay plays the Stradivari “ex Ries 1692“, a loan of the Reinhold Würth cultural foundation.
